Comicpark Erfurt 2019

Last saturday I attended the Comicpark for the third time. It was a bit earlier this year, last year the comicpark opened in september. I arrived pretty early, so I had enough time to look around.

At the stage was a stage play of the group ActMob from Chemnitz. They played their first act, “Dipper’s 5 and Batman” It was pretty crazy but also pretty funny. There was a lot of popart mixed with comedic situations. Sadly there’s no filmed version online, so you’ll have to check them out live, if you’re interested.

Later I visited the hall and bought a lot of comics. What I liked most was that there were so many small artists I’ve never heard of before. I even met Paola Antista who did the drawings for a comic book about cats. She even drew me a unique sketch into my copy. I also participated in lots of tombolas and won quite a few posters.

At the end of the day I visited the pet zoo again and became friends with a lot of goats and 2 sheep. Then we had to go home, because it started to rain. In the end it was a really awesome day.

Comicpark 2018 Erfurt

Today I went to a kinda different convention in Thuringia erfurt. It’s called comicpark and this year was the second attempt.
Unfortunately it was pretty rainy, so there weren’t too many people. Anyway, the location, which is called ega park, is a big park with a lot of plants inside, so it was an awesome location. This time a lot of artists were presenting their work, you could play tabletop games and there were some cosplayers. I wasn’t cosplaying myself though, because it was too cold and all my cosplays are pretty short . At the end of the day we were visiting the petting zoo. We saw goats, pigs, guinnea pigs, rabbits and sheep.

Bamcon 2018

I was at the bamcon in Bremen this year. It was a replacement convention for the cancelled nipponcon. It got cancelled because there weren’t enough people preordering tickets. Fortunately another operater decided to make an anime convention anyway. Unfortunately it probably didn’t have enough visitors to make another convention. So the bamcon was probably the last anime convention in Bremen for a while. Which is sad, because all the other options to meet other cosplayer and anime fans, like animexx, were also cancelled. So this convention probably was the last option to meet up as cosplayers in Bremen.

Anyway the convention itself was pretty nice. I’ve met a lot of old friends, which I haven’t seen for over a year, so I had some nice talkings.
A lot of people were showing off their cosplays, which I liked a lot.
Also there were some shops where you could buy things related to anime and japan. I call them the cashgrabbers, because I always see a lot of things I’d love to buy instantly. As usual there were also lots of show acts, but I didn’t get to see them this year. I wanted to see Otakus Live but unfortunately I’ve missed that act.
Anyway, it was a pretty nice day and it’s sad that we have to say goodbye.

Roleplaying – Ari and Her Sister

Final Fantasy 14 is one of my favourite games, so it’s not surprising that I made a story around my characters. I want to tell you this story now. You need to know though that there are different races in FF14, for now I’ll focus on just 3 of them.
There’s a human-like race called Hyur, a cat-like race called Miqo’te and a lizard race called Au Ra, which has very strong males and pretty feminine females.
About 20 years ago there was a female Hyur that met an Au Ra. It was love at first sight, so pretty soon after they got a child. They called her Makisu, she’s half Human and half Au Ra.
Unfortunately, soon after the birth of Makisu, her father changed. He became extremely aggressive and her mother was arguing with him a lot. Her mother couldn’t handle it anymore, so they divorced and she kept Makisu.
About two years later her mother met a Miqo’te. She always said that he was pretty cute and that he was the person she needed. Of course, they got a child which they called Arisu. Arisu is half human and half a cat. Makisu was happy that she had a sister now.
But the happiness shouldn’t last long. Eight years later Makisu’s father found out about the relationship and was mad as always. But this time it was worse than it used to be. He killed Arisu’s father and their mother.
Makisu’s father disappeared never to be seen again. Makisu and Arisu were on their own now. They promised each other that one day they would find Makisu’s father and take revenge. They joined Gridania’s grand company and learned to fight, they still get stronger every day to get ready for the day when it finally arrives.

Japantag 2017

Last saturday was the Japantag in Dusseldorf this year. Like last year I wanted to visit it. But this year I had my girlfriend with me and I was cosplaying myself. I was Nico from the anime Love Live. First I was sad that nobody wanted to take a photo of me but later a profressional photograph asked if he could take some shots of me and 3 other people asked me too. Unfortunately I couldn’t find pictures from me online yet, but if I do, I will add them here. Anyway it was really cool and there were many cosplayer and the weather was awesome. Didn’t got a sunburn this year 🙂

I couldn’t make as many pictures this year as last year because I was “busy” with my girlfriend but I had the chance to make some 🙂
